Souris Village Feast vice chair Alan MacPhee writes a $10,000 cheque to Teresa Mellish, coordinator of Farmers helping Farmers. The money will be used to build a fifth school cookhouse in rural Kenya. Although the Village Feast goal is one cookhouse annually, this cookhouse uses surplus funds raised from previous Feast years and will be the second one this year. Village Feast Inc. is a non-profit children's charity based in Souris, Prince Edward Island. It supports local and global initiatives whose goals are to improve the lives of children in our world.
